Caused by: Uromyces spp.
Problem Category: Fungal Disease
Symptoms: Raised brown to black pustules on both sides of leaves; wilting plants; drying leaves dropping from plant
Comments: Major disease in parts of West Africa and in areas of medium elevation in East Africa
Management: spray 10% cowurine solution
Control: spray 2 times 10% Cowdung+Asafoetida solution in 10 days interval.
