Powdery mildew

Caused by: Leveillula taurica
Problem Category: Fungal Disease
Symptoms: White, powdery spots on leaves which expand over time; yellow spots may be visible on leaf underside
Comments: Disease favors shady conditions and poor air circulation
Management: Avoid stressing plants by providing them with adequate irrigation and fertilizer; use adequate spacings when planting to avoid overcrowding
Control: Spray 6 litres Fermented butter milk to control the powdery midew
