Management: • The sap-sucking insects should be controlled by using 5% neem seed kernel extract (or) neemastra. • Mix 2 kg of starch powder in 5 liters of hot water and add 100 liters of water to make a slurry. The slurry solution should be sprayed on the branches, leaves and fruits of the trees infected with sooty mold so that it is well soaked. • Cattle dung urine solution should be sprayed on the infected parts 2 times at an interval of 10 days. • By doing this, the sooty molds will fall off in small pieces along with the starch powder and dry in the sun. The crop will be healthy.
